Marketplaces enforce certain rules to market products on their channels. To have your registration approved, be sure that you are complying with the policies imposed on the type of product to be marketed.

Rules

The sale of illegal, unsafe or other products as listed below, including products available by prescription only, is strictly prohibited on marketplaces.

  • Products from extinct animals;
  • Live animals, derived from prohibited animals;
  • Counterfeit art, unauthorized copies;
  • Automotive products not legal in the EU, automotive scams, fuel, used tires, counterfeit parts;
  • Cosmetics and personal care: That are not packaged and are not properly described and labeled, that are prohibited or require a medical prescription;
  • Currency, coins, cash equivalents and gift cards;
  • Food supplements that are considered doping, or illegal in the EU;
  • Electronic products: Any product that circumvents copyright protections;
  • Explosives, weapons and related items;
  • Food and beverages: Expired, no expiration date, banned in the EU, without regular registration with the competent authority, when applicable;
  • Games of chance and lotteries;
  • Hazardous products (explosives, bacteria, acids, hazardous chemicals, radioactive, freezing liquids or refrigerants);
  • Human body parts, artefacts and burial pieces;
  • Laser products (laser pointers, 303s, and portable laser pet toys);
  • Lamps without regular registration with the competent authority;
  • Devices for opening locks and theft;
  • Medical devices and accessories (without regular registration with the authority
    competent or counterfeit or with prescription restriction for the purchase);
  • Offensive and controversial material;
  • Other restricted products;

  • Postage meters and stamps;
  • Product recall;
  • Recycling of electronic products;
  • Surveillance Equipment: Devices designed to facilitate the clandestine viewing or recording of individuals;

Requirements for registration

Bank account associated with the tax identification number. Payment for sales depends on the company having an exclusive bank account for the registered tax identification number.

It is mandatory to sell on any marketplace. The invoice is sent together with the product to prove the sale.
Important: The invoice must be issued using the same registered tax number. It is mandatory to send the invoice on the dashboard to receive payments.

It is mandatory to send the tracking code (order tracking code) within 2 days after receiving the order. This is mandatory for marketplaces that use this way to release payment for the sale, as they have confirmation that the order has been received at the customer's address.

Your products need to meet the trade standards required by marketplaces, and items such as live animals, weapons, etc. are not allowed. (See full list at Restricted Categories).

The EAN (European Article Number) is the numerical sequence that is part of the bar code of a product and responsible for identifying the model, country of origin and manufacturer, among other data. If you are a manufacturer and want to place your products on marketplaces, you will have to create a specific EAN. (Look for GS1 and find out how to do it – gs1pt.org).

Not. BIGhub does not boost your self-published ads directly on marketplaces or through other platforms. To have your ads boosted by BIGhub, you need to have a contract with us and register your products through our sales platform. The quantity of products to be registered on the BIGhub platform is determined by the plan signed by you. The more products you advertise, the more competitive you become and the more chances you have to make sales. BIGhub offers the facility to register products on file, that is, in large quantities, leaving it up to you to decide how many products you would like to advertise.

BIGhub does not charge a commission on product sales, only the monthly amount of the chosen plan. The seller will only pay the commission to marketplaces, whose rates are different (the commission rate is informed when registering the products).

Not. To place your products on the marketplaces through BIGhub, you need to have the company NIF, the proof of which must be sent to us for validation, as well as the Permanent Certificate or the Declaration of Beginning of Activity. The store will only be active after all data has been validated by an internal operator.
